So we did a MURAL
Stevedave posted a topic in General Discussion,
between the 3 of us we did 3 panels plus a team list and thanks, we did wilko, the don and 19 of the best as a team group, chosen by the original artist who did the origial piece on his own way back in the year 2000. it needed updating, for a start harry kewell needed removing and it was originally 17 players so two have been added, so we whitewashed it and got to work.
we are for a set of kack handed wannabes, pretty proud of what weve done, we wanted to add more, like the west stand windows with franz beckenbaur climbing down a ladder with the european cup in a swag bag but we didnt have time.
style aimed for was kinda Roy of the rovers......if that makes sense,
we almost forgot to stick a ball on the thing
there are little added bits like battys salute ad bobby collins unwashed socks.
there is a touchline which can be crossed and its big enough to stand and have your photo taken with the team.
is fucking freezing in there.....so dont stand to long.
its been a rite laugh doing it and i hope they let us do more in the future, id love to get more leeds fans to help out.
anyhow, hope you like it
well done LUFC for letting us in, thank you.
lets the waccoe abuse and bile and love begin.
(if someone doesnt tell us its shit within 3 posts, there is sommat up with you)
cheers

Waccoe.com - Crimbo raffle with all proceeds to the Toby fund - Win signed 1972 shirt plus other prizes £1,200 raised so far
mydadin72 posted a topic in General Discussion,
Waccoe.com had bought a 1972 shirt signed by 10 of the team for our star Crimbo prize with COA.
However, after discussions with the modmin team we are all agreed it would be better to raffle this special prize with all money raised going to help fund the treatment that Toby needs.
We have some other prizes such as a Leeds back pack, LUFC shot glasses, books, 4 video collection, mugs, beach towel etc; and if anyone wants to donate more prizes they would be welcomed.
Draw will be sometime in December and money can be sent by PayPal to hutchy17462@hotmail.com or pm me if you want to do a bank transfer.
Please note these are my personal accounts as we get accused of money laundering if done through waccoe account but every penny donated will be acknowledged on here and given to Toby's fund.
Please ensure you add a note of your user name when buying raffle tickets.
To get the ball rolling waccoe.com has bought the first tickets so we have £50 in the kitty already (Waccoe will offer for auction if we win star prize)
Tickets are £5 each or three for £10 so come on waccoers let's do this for Toby

Flowers for Billy
mydadin72 posted a topic in General Discussion,
Modmin have been discussing the upcoming 20th anniversary of Billy leaving us and we thought we should commemorate his passing with some flowers at his statue.
We will look to do a floral display akin to what we did for speedo and just wanted views on the wording.
I have King Billy in mind but open to suggestions.

Eunan O'Kane could replace Ronaldo Vieira, who serves a one-match ban after picking up a red card in Leeds' 4-1 defeat by Wolves on Wednesday.

Match facts
Barnsley have won five of their last six home league matches against Leeds (L1), scoring 17 goals in those five victories.
None of the 30 meetings between these sides at Oakwell in all competitions has ended goalless, with 30 goals scored in the last seven matches.
Leeds have lost their three away Yorkshire derbies in 2017, losing to Barnsley in January, Huddersfield in February and Sheffield Wednesday in October.
Barnsley have on average fielded the youngest starting line-up in the Championship this season (23 years, 220 days).
Leeds haven't conceded three or more goals in three consecutive away league matches since November 2006 (four in a row) - the last match in that run was at Oakwell, a 3-2 defeat.
Samuel Saiz has had a hand in 12 goals for Leeds this season in all competitions (eight goals, four assists), four more than any other player.
Will TC have learned lessons from the past few away games ? I'm not sure. Barnsley will be pumped up for their cup final & I don't see us having the same fight. I have no confidence in Wiedwald or Lonergan.
Barnsley 3-2 Leeds
Bradshaw 17'
Sáiz 28'
Hedges 43'
Ugbo 58'
Alioski 73'

What's the problem?
LUFCchockhead posted a topic in General Discussion,
Taking 9 points from 30.
Numerous spineless displays and embarrassing results. Seems a long time ago we were top of the league.
The odd display with Boro at the weekend, Bristol away and the lucky win against Ipswich being the highlights of our dire run.
The reality of our summer player recruitment has hit home now.
The reality of bringing in an inexperienced manager is proving to be a disaster.
Just what the actual fuck is going on?
Orta being too much of an influence undermining TC?
Or simply TC can't inspire his players?
We let go arguably the best keeper in the league, we let go arguably the best LB in the league, we missed out on securing arguably the best CB we've had in years and them we sold the best striker in the league.
What have we got to show for it?
A mid table fodder team.

Leeds have a doubt over striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who missed Sunday's 2-1 win over Garry Monk's Middlesbrough.
It ended a run of four straight losses, but Leeds still start the game 12 points behind Wolves.
Nuno's Championship leaders may be knocked off the top again if Sheffield United win at home to Fulham on Tuesday.
SAM's prediction Home win - 65% Draw - 21% Away win - 14% SAM, the Sports Analytics Machine, is a super-computer built by @ProfIanMcHale of the University of Liverpool.
Match facts
Four of the last six league meetings between these sides have been won by the away team - including both last season. Wolves have lost their last two home league matches against Leeds - as many as in their previous 17 visits. Leeds are the only Championship side that have failed to win a single point from a losing position this season. Wolves have lost their last seven home matches on a Wednesday. The last time they avoided defeat was the 1-0 win over Chelsea in January 2011. Leo Bonatini is the Championship's top scorer this season, having scored 10 goals from his 19 shots on target.
.........so who's going, have to admit this is probably up there with one of the worst away stands in the EFL.

Winger Stuart Dallas is back in the squad after going back to Northern Ireland following a bereavement but left-back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson (ankle) is out.
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder has no new injury or suspension concerns.
The Blades, League One winners last season, will go top with a win.
Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen told BBC Radio Leeds:
"I think it will be a very tough game and small mistakes will decide it.
"They're a very good team and you should never underestimate a team who come from League One - this is the proof.
"It's a good way for us to measure ourselves for where we want to be. If we win then we will be one point behind them.
"The fans have been massive since I arrived and I hope that the team will perform in a way that makes them feel proud."
Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"We have to recognise that they are going to bring their best game to the table. I don't think their supporters will demand any less than that.
"There's going to be 35,000 there on a Friday night under the lights. It doesn't get any bigger than this.
"They're geared up to get out of the division. That is their goal and their aim and with that comes recruitment and money spent. They've had a couple of blips but they've also had some really good results.
"If they get off to a good start it's going to be a really tough night for us but if we do then things quickly change."

Leeds United have won only one of their last seven league games against Sheffield United (W1 D3 L3), winning 1-0 at home in September 2010. Sheffield United have lost seven of their last nine league visits to Elland Road (W1 D1). After a run of three successive league wins at Elland Road, Leeds lost their last home game against Reading - they've not lost back-to-back home league games since August 2016. Since Chris Wilder took over in May 2016, Sheffield United have won more games (39) and more points (127) than any other English league side. Leeds have not dropped a single point from a leading position in a league match at Elland Road since last October, a 1-1 draw with Wigan; since then, the Whites have taken the lead in 14 games and won all 14. Billy Sharp has scored four goals in his last four league starts against Leeds United (two each while playing for Nottingham Forest and Doncaster Rovers).

Bristol City head coach Lee Johnson told BBC Radio Bristol:
"Both teams will go for the win and that will leave spaces and I think it will be a very entertaining game. It should be cracking, almost like a cup tie.
"They [Leeds] have got weaknesses, like all teams have. They've also go some very good individuals in the top part of the pitch and solid defenders.
"We haven't really taken a punch on the nose yet. We will get a punch on the nose [eventually] and we have got to be able to deal with that."
Match facts
Last season's 1-0 win for Bristol City against Leeds at Ashton Gate is the Robins' only home league win in their last seven attempts against them (D3 L3). Leeds have won eight of their last 10 league matches against the Robins (D1 L1). Bristol City are unbeaten in their last 10 league games (W4 D6), conceding just one goal in their last four. Leeds have lost each of their last three league games, they haven't lost four or more in a row since April 2015 (five successive defeats). The Whites have also have failed to score in two successive Championship matches for the second time this season - the last time they went three games without a goal was in April 2014. Bristol City's Frank Fielding has made 36 saves this season with a save percentage of 76.1%; only Aston Villa's Sam Johnstone has a higher percentage (78.2%).

Leeds have kept one clean sheet in their last 19 matches against Birmingham in all competitions, with Paddy Kenny the goalkeeper to do so in a 4-0 win in October 2013.
That 4-0 defeat in 2013 is the Blues' only defeat in their last seven trips to Elland Road in all competitions (W4 D2).
Thomas Christiansen is the 12th manager in as many matches to be in charge of Leeds at home to Birmingham in a league match, a run that stretches back to December 1987 when Leeds were managed by Billy Bremner.
Birmingham City have lost their last three league games - they haven't lost four in a row since April 2014 (a run of five). On that occasion, the fourth defeat in that run was against Leeds.
Leeds haven't lost a home match on a Tuesday in any competition since September 2015, winning seven and drawing seven since a 1-0 defeat to Ipswich under Uwe Rosler
